Dr. Kathy Davies’ career reflects over 38 years of enthusiasm and commitment to the field of dentistry. She graduated from the University of Michigan first with a degree in Dental Hygiene and later she returned to received her dental degree. She practiced general dentistry in her own practice for ten years in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 1989 she moved with her family to Chapel Hill. Her postgraduate periodontal training was completed at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1995.
She is the mother of Laura and Rachael. Dr. Davies’ husband, John is a Full Professor at the UNC School of Dentistry.

Dr.
Armin Abron was raised in Chapel Hill. He received his
Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of North
Carolina
at Chapel Hill in 2002. Dr. Abron completed a 3-year surgical
residency in Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and
Oral
Surgery in New York, where he also obtained his Masters in Periodontics.
As a
student he was honored as the recipient of the very prestigious Mel
Morris
Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence in Periodontics. Dr. Abron is
an
Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology in the
School
of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr.
Abron practiced for the past 5 years as a specialist in
private practice in Southern Pines and most recently in Washington DC. He enjoys traveling, playing racketball and
tennis.

Nora Sienra, our Professional Relations Coordinator, joined our team from California in 2003 and lives in Hillsborough. She has three children Ana Lia, Lisandro, and Lukas, four grandchildren and three dogs.Her extensive experience in dentistry dates back to 1984.
Nora and Janine have been the 2008-2010 Co-Presidents of the Durham-Orange Dental Assistants Society.

| Monica Benton, DA our Clinic Coordinator is a native of Durham. She is a mother of two, Talileshia and Chai and grandmother of three beautiful children.
She has been in the field of Dentistry for over 20 years as a Dental Assistant II.
Monica has been Vice-President and Treasurer of the Durham-Orange Dental Assistants Society.

Robbie Johnson, RDH our dental hygienist is a North Carolina native who grew up in Chatham County. Crrently she resides in Bear Creek where she and her husband own and operate a poultry farm.She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she completed a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Robbie has 8 years of clinical dental hygiene experience.and has been a member of our staff since 2003.
She is a member od tha American Dental Hygiene Association and a member of her local organization, the Durham Orange Dental Hygiene Society.

| Janine Healey, DA from Chapel Hill, has over ten years experience as a chair side assistant and has been with us for 6 years. She is the mother of John, Megan and Jennifer.
She is a real asset to our team and is the 2008-2010 President of the Durham-Orange Dental Assistants Society.

Sherry Walker, CDA our Schedule Coordinator, has been a member of our team since 2008. Sherry was born in Michigan, raised in Tennessee and moved to Chapel Hill in 1982. She has 21 years of dental experience. Sherry has a son named Justin, and is the proud grandma of 4 who call her: "Granny TarHeel" because Sherry is an avid TarHeel fun. Sherry is also a member of our local Dental Assistants Society.
